  • Service Officer Joe Mikowski, American Legion Post 423, fires a volley of three shots to complete the flag raising ceremony at the 40th annual Wiegand Farm Golf Outing. Captain William Carroll was honored by the Department for Persons with Disabilities, Diocese of Paterson for his service to our country. He received letters of commendation from the Most Reverend Arthur J. Serratelli, Bishop of Paterson and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.



The flag was raised at the onset of the 40th annual Wiegand Farm Golf Outing.

The event was held in the honor of Capt. William Carroll, who recently returned from Afghanistan. Carroll also was honored by the Department for Persons with Disabilities and the Diocese of Paterson for his service to the U.S. He also received letters of commendation from the Rev. Arthur J. Serratelli, bishop of Paterson and Gov. Chris Christie.
