Vernon High artists make plastic people

Students in Sarah Ulrich’s art class at Vernon Township High School created transparent sculptures by wrapping themselves in packing tape. The students worked in groups and wrapped sections of the body in clear heavy tape, sticky side up, and then covered that with several more layers sticky side down. After they assembled the parts into various postures, they set them up in administrators’ offices and classrooms around the building.
