Vaccine clinic open to county residents

    Stanhope — The Sussex County Department of Environmental and Public Health Services, Office of Public Health Nursing is sponsoring a Seasonal Flu Vaccine Clinic available to residents of the County. It will be held at Byram Township Municipal Building, 10 Mansfield Drive, Stanhope on Thursday, Jan. 14, from 3 to 6 p.m. Cash payment is preferred. For those 65 and older, the seasonal flu vaccine and pneumococcal vaccine are free, but Medicare or Medicaid cards must be shown. For the tetanus vaccine, a $20 fee is charged. This vaccine is only administered to people who have not had one in 10 years. For those under 65, the seasonal flu vaccine costs $15; the pneumococcal vaccine costs $35; and the tetanus vaccine costs $20. Registration is required. No walk-ins will be accepted.
