Practicing random acts
| 22 Feb 2012 | 12:06
Students at the Clifton E. Lawrence School in Wantage participated in a Kindness and Justice Challenge and were encouraged to perform random acts of kindness both in and out of the classroom. First-graders extended this spirit of kindness into the community by conducting a food drive, gathering donations for the Sussex Help Center. The children enjoyed sorting, graphing and counting their collections by tens and had a chance to see first-hand the value in giving and helping others.
