Ronald Johnstone, 51, of Sussex pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled dangerous substance and resisting arrest, both crimes of the third degree, and motor vehicle violations driving while suspended and driving while under the influence.
Sentencing is presently scheduled for February 21, 2020.
The defendant admitted to being under the influence and in possession of a controlled dangerous substance during a motor vehicle stop in Franklin Borough. He also admitted that on a separate occasion state police signaled him to pull over for a motor vehicle infraction and he continued driving, ignoring the Troopers signal. When he finally did stop and was arrested he continued to resist the troopers.
Erick R. Santiago, 24, ,of Union City, pleaded guilty to making terroristic Threats, a third-degree crime and simple assault, a disorderly persons offense.
Sentencing is presently anticipated for February 21, 2020.
Dominick Hernandez, 29 of Sparrowbush, N.Y., was sentenced to 60 days in the county jail, suspended, and three years of non-custodial probation. He was ordered to submit a DNA sample and pay fines and fees totaling $155.
He pleaded guilty on Dec. 17, 2019, to resisting arrest, a third-degree crime.
The defendant used physical force against New Jersey state police to prevent his arrest on July 3, 2019, in Montague Township.
Brandon Soares, 25 of Milford, Pa., was sentenced to two years of probation and ordered to pay fines and fees totaling $1,205.
He pleaded guilty on Dec. 9, 2019, to possession of a controlled dangerous substance, a third-degree crime.
The defendant was in possession of heroin on Aug. 9, 2019.
