Dancing for their elders

Area senior citizens were treated to a holiday performance put on by Dance Expression of Hamburg at the Hardyston Middle School. Lisa Schumann, director of the dance studio, describes the event as a holiday dance spectacular. The show “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” offered dancing, poinsettias, baked goods, coffee, cider and good cheer on Sunday, Dec. 6. Hardyston Middle School donated its cafeteria/auditorium for the event and Dance Expression families donated the flowers and refreshments. After the performance, seniors received poinsettias as door prizes, joined in the Christmas sing-along and savored the endless spread of holiday treats in what has become an annual tradition for the dance studio.
