Chamber speakers

Ron Muller, president of both Aspen Companies and the Vernon Chamber of Commerce, meets with Kathleen DeGroat of SCARC, Inc. and Sandi Baril of Transition Services during the chamber’s January meeting. DeGroat and Baril addressed the membership to bring awareness of services SCARC offers to local businesses. SCARC’s Transitional Program brings high school students with developmental disabilities into the business community for mentorship while allowing the students to transition to adulthood. Local businesses that have participated include Heaven Hill Farm for seasonal training and Century 21 Gross & Jansen Realtors offers weekly office skills. To learn more, call 973-383-7442.
