Saint Joseph Regional School in Newton held its fourth annual clothing drive on April 4. Bags of clothing are collected and shipped to Eastern European Countries for distribution via A&E Clothing Company. Last year the school exceeded 980 pounds of clothing in the collection and this year was shaping up to be close. The eighth grade students run the collection to help those in need and, as further incentive, receive 10 cents per pound back to their school. Featured in the photo are eighth grade students Monica Abdul-Chani, Clarissa Verleur, Tyler Morris and fifth grader Andrew Cooney.
