Daniel Bellars, Connor Quinn, Victoria Van Riper and John Frey hang up their mathematical masterpieces. They were among a group of sixth-grade math students at Lounsberry Holllow Middle School who have been learning geometry through the creation of three-dimensional shapes using patterns and nets. To better activate both sides of the brain and to increase learning, the students put their artistic abilities to use and colored and decorated the shapes turning them into ‘objects d’art.’
