Volunteers shave their heads to support childhood cancer research

    The St. Baldrick’s Foundation will host one of it’s signature head-shaving events to raise funds and awareness for lifesaving childhood cancer research at Dragonglies Hair and Nail Salon in Vernon on June 22 at 3 p.m.

    St. Baldrick’s is a volunteer-driven children’s cancer charity that raises funds by hosting head-shaving events worldwide where volunteers collect pledges to shave their heads in solidarity with children with cancer.

    Honored child, Chelsea Ward two time cancer conqueror along with St. Baldrick’s shavees, volunteers, supporters and donors will be present.

    Dragonflies Hair and Nail Salon is located at 34A Highland Lakes Road (Route 638) in Vernon.
