On a rainless evening a crowd gathered to listen to Music From the Islands presented on the green at Sussex County Community College on Thursday as part of a weekly series. Michael George, One Man Steel Band, was the opening act. “We are happy to be the cultural center of the community,” said spectator and SCCC president Constance Mierendorf.
