Chamber will host GreenFest

Newton — The Sussex County Chamber of Commerce will present its first GreenFest Community Day on Saturday, May 1 at Sussex County Community College from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event will be held outdoors on the college green with provisions to move indoors for inclement weather. “Essentially, we are encouraging participation by anyone who has anything to promote or sell that is green, local, earth-friendly, carbon reducing, conservation-minded, reusable, recyclable, organic, environmental, eco-friendly, natural, energy-efficient or sustainable” said Tammie Horsfield, Sussex County Chamber president. GreenFest Community Day sponsors include Eastern Propane, The New Jersey Herald and WSUS/WNNJ Radio.
