Calling all young artists for Pee Wee Picasso

West Milford — Pee Wee Picasso is a program for children ages 1 -3 years old with a caregiver. This class will include a warm up exercise in art, as well as a completed project each class for the child to take home. During these sessions, the child and caregiver will learn to explore the world of art through different art exercises, art-inspired literature, music and age appropriate art materials. The classes will dabble in printmaking, collage concepts and painting. Texture, color, multi-culturism and art history will be explored. Please provide smocks (an old t-shirt works) for your children. The classes will be held at Hillcrest Community Center on Fridays, April 16 through June 11, (no class May 28). Session 1 will be held from 9:45 to 10:30 a.m.; Session 2 will be held from 10:45 to 11:30 a.m. The cost is $85 per child. Non-residents please add $10.
