Drama Geek Studios is proud to present both the junior and full versions of Stephen Sondheim’s modern classic “Into the Woods.”

The musical is based and adapted from fairy tales written by the Brothers Grimm, featuring epic stories about wishes, family, and the choices we make.

The story follows a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King’s Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch’s curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone’s wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results.

Performances will take place the weekend of March 25, 26 and 27 for the junior version at Sussex County Community College in Newton, N.J.

The full version of “Into the Woods” will take place the weekends of April 1 and April 8 at Sussex County Community College.

Tickets for both versions are $17.00 for students 17 and under, $15 for seniors, and $22 for adults. Tickets are available online at dramageekstudios.com
