Jason R. Miller, 42, of Hardwick, was sentenced to three years probation with credit for 118 days served at the Keogh Dwyer Correctional Facility. He also must have no contact, directly, indirectly or through a third-party, with his victim, undergo a Psychological Evaluation and follow all recommendations, and pay standard fines and fees.
Miller was arrested on Dec. 16, 2016, and pleaded guilty on June 27, 2019, to two (2) counts of Title 9 – Abuse of a Child (a fourth-degree crime).
Christopher Hillery, 40 of Sussex, was sentenced to two years of probation with credit for 11 days of time served. He was ordered to submit to a TASC evaluation and follow any and all recommendations made from same, complete 20 hours of community service work and pay fines and fees totaling $3,555.
He pleaded guilty on June 24, 2019, to three counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, a third-degree crime.
The defendant was in possession of heroin on Aug. 19, 2018, in Franklin, on December 12, 2018, in Haledon and on May 13, 2019, in Sparta.
Vincent L. Davison, 23 of Brooklyn, was sentenced to one year of probation. He must also perform community service, pay restitution and mandatory fines and fees and refrain from committing new thefts.
He pleaded guilty on July 8 to shoplifting, a third-degree crime. Davison admitted to attempting to steal over the counter medication from the CVS in Byram.
