Dec. 7 dinner for veterans

Sussex County Community College (SCCC) Veterans Office will hold its annual Fish n’ Chips dinner on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. The event will at the American Legion, Post #86, 20 Yates Ave, Newton, NJ.

This Veterans’ Fish n’ Chips dinner is sponsored by the SCCC Foundation. Proceeds from this event will benefit SCCC student veterans.

Tastefully British will prepare the meal for the evening. The dinner includes a fish and chips dinner along with soft drinks. Adult tickets will include beer and wine. The SCCC Veterans’ Club will be on hand to assist in serving the meals.

Ticket prices are $25 for adults; $15 for veterans or SCCC students; and $15 for children 17 and under. Groups of 10 or more will receive $3 off (adult price only). Tickets can be purchased by visiting sussex.edu/fishnchips. Take out is also available for $15.
