The Jefferson Township Museum, also known as the George Chamberlain House, will have an open house on Sunday, Sept. 8, from 1-4 p.m.

    Admission is free.

Costumed docents will be available to talk about this Victorian home. Congratulations to our member, Dianna Filan, whose docent costume won first prize at the New Jersey Farm and Horse Show this August. You can almost always find Dianna along with the other dedicated docents in their costumes at the Museum's first Sunday of the month open house.

These costumed docents help make the Jefferson Museum the special place that it is. At 2:00 there will be a dedication ceremony in the Museum gardens of the new garden arbor.

The arbor will be dedicated to the Museum Garden Club in appreciation for all they do to make the museum gardens the gem of the township.

Be sure to visit Miss Elizabeth’s Shoppe located in the original kitchen of the Museum. The Museum is air conditioned so touring and shopping can be done in comfort.
