Sussex County Community College will hold a Free College Information Session on Thursday, Aug. 22 at 6:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center.

Students and parents will be able to discuss the criteria and have questions answered by Diane Pienta-Lett, director of Financial Aid at Sussex.

To qualify, a student must be a New Jersey resident, complete a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) before Sept. 15, 2019, have an adjusted gross income of less than $65,000, and enroll in at least six credits. Students who meet the criteria will be eligible for the Fall 2019 or spring 2020 semesters. Current students who have already completed a FAFSA for the 2019-20 school year will automatically be considered for the grant.
