    Sept. 8 Joseph E. Facin, age 22, of Greentown, PA, pled guilty to resisting, a fourth degree crime. Sentencing is presently anticipated for October 10. Kaarhera Bourgeois, age 47, of Hopatcong pled guilty to the third degree crime of possession of cocaine and driving while intoxicated. His sentence date is October 10. He admitted that on May 14 he possessed a small amount of crack cocaine after being stopped by Hopatcong Police Officer William Sutphen, Jr. He also admitted that he was driving under the influence of Phencyclidine. Daniel Jackman, age 24, of Glenwood pled guilty to seven counts of third degree burglary. Sentence date is October 14. He admitted that on May 20 he burglarized the Vernon Veterinary Clinic for the purpose of obtaining a controlled dangerous substance ketamine. He also admitted to burglarizing the Montague Veterinary Hospital on six occasions between October 28, 2007 and June 16, 2008 for the purpose of obtaining ketamine. Christopher J. Tetelman, age 24, of Stanhope, pled guilty to one count of third degree burglary, two counts of third degree receiving stolen property, one count of third degree unlawful use of a credit card and one count of fourth degree of theft of a credit card. Sentencing is presently anticipated for October 10. In one incident, he admitted to being in possession of property stolen from a Stanhope Borough residence. In another incident he admitted to entering two vehicles in Sparta and taking personal items and using the credit cards to make several purchases at area stores. In a separate incident, he admitted to being in possession of stolen vehicle rims and an intake manifold stolen from the back of a pick-up truck located in Byram Township. Sept. 9 Thomas J. Caggiano, age 62, of Stanhope, was indicted with 13 counts of contempt, all crimes of the fourth degree. The grand jury alleges that between March 18 and May 29 Caggiano repeatedly disobeyed a judicial order signed by the Honorable B. Theodore Bozonelis, AJSC prohibiting him from contacting Stanhope Borough employees or entering the grounds of Stanhope Borough buildings. Arraignment before the Superior Court in Newton will be within the next six weeks. A grand jury indictment is a charge only. The defendant is presumed innocent until guilt may be proved at a jury trial. Kathleen N. Sullivan, age 52, of Haskell, was indicted with seven counts of criminal offenses. Sullivan is charged with two counts of second degree vehicular homicide, one count of third degree assault by auto and four counts of fourth degree assault by auto. The case was investigated by Hardyston Police Department, Sussex County Crash Analysis and Reconstruction Team and the New Jersey State Police Fatal Accident Investigation Unit. The indictment alleges that On August 19, 2007 Sullivan was driving a motor vehicle recklessly, while intoxicated, and caused a five-vehicle crash resulting in the deaths of Kerry and Cynthia Felski, serious bodily injury to Evelyn Klein, and bodily injury to Stephen Klein, Donnie Fernandez, Jarrod Cappello and Stephanie Cappello. Gibbs, age 35, of Randolph, was indicted with third degree unlawful taking means of conveyance and fourth degree obstruction administration of law. The defendant is presumed innocent until guilt may be proved at a jury trial. Sept. 15 Mark McCarthy, age 47, of Delaware pled guilty to third degree eluding and DWI. Sentencing is presently anticipated for October 24. He admitted to driving through a DWI checkpoint and refusing to stop after being requested to by a Byram Township patrolman. Kelly Cogswell, age 42, of Hackettstown, NJ pled guilty to contempt, a fourth degree crime. Sentencing is presently anticipated for October 24. Between June 9, 2005 and August 22, 2006 in Byram Township, she disobeyed judicial orders signed by the Honorable Karen Russell, JSC prohibiting her from contacting William Frei, Sr. and ordering her to return property to him. John P. Denino, age 27, of Newton, pled guilty to aggravated assault on a police officer, a third degree crime, and aggravated assault/throwing bodily fluid, a 4th degree crime. Sentencing is presently anticipated for October 16. On June 29, in Newton, while being placed under arrest for shoplifting, defendant punched a police officer in the chin. On July 4, in Newton, police officers responded to a report of a dispute at an apartment on Spring Street. Defendant was involved in a verbal argument with another person and continued to antagonize him once officers separated them. While being placed under arrest for disorderly conduct he spit at one of the officers. Sept. 16 Steven Chirco, age 20, of Hopatcong, was sentenced to three years drug court probation, $1305 in fines, six-month loss of driver’s license and intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment. He pled guilty on July 21, to the third degree crime of possession of a controlled dangerous substance and the fourth degree crime of possession of a prohibited weapon. He admitted that on March 17 he possessed six bags of heroin and a gravity knife in Hopatcong. Thomas Bacolas, age 22, of Andover Township, pled guilty to the third degree crime of burglary and two counts of third degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance. His sentence date is presently scheduled for October 6. He admitted that on June 8 in Sparta, he entered a motor vehicle with the intent to steal something from inside of it. He also admitted that on June 30 he constructively possessed a bag of heroin and a trace amount of cocaine in Sparta Township. Sept. 18 Aaron Semanchik, age 21 of Vernon was sentenced to probation for three years with 188 days jail credit, enroll in sex offender specific therapy and Decide Program. Defendant is to have no contact with victim or her family. Fines and costs are in the amount of $205. On March 10, 2008 the defendant coerced an adult female into having sexual contact against her will. Sept. 19 Matthew C. See, age 21, of Hardyston Township, New Jersey was charged that he knowingly made available for transmission images and videos of child pornography, a second degree crime and possession of child pornography, a fourth degree crime. At his first appearance in Sussex County Superior Court, his bail was continued in the amount of $100,000 without the option of posting 10 percent. As a condition of his bail, See was ordered to have no Internet access, no contact with minor children and to undergo a psychosexual evaluation. It is alleged that See made the prohibited images available in his Limewire share folder which made the prohibited images available for download by other individuals. He was previously arrested on September 11, as a result of a joint investigation with the Sussex County Prosecutor’s Office and the Hardyston Township Police Department. On September 11 See was charged with attempting to lure a minor child to an isolated area with the purpose to commit sexual assault and criminal sexual contact, a second degree crime; attempted sexual assault, a second degree crime and attempted criminal sexual contact, a fourth degree crime. See’s bail on these charges is an additional $100,000 without the option of posting 10 percent. As a condition of the September 11 bail, See was ordered to have no contact with minor children and to undergo a psychosexual evaluation.
