The Sussex County Community College (SCCC) Veterans Office will be hosting its annual fish n’ chips dinner. This year’s event will have an added bonus with the showing of a movie on a big screen under the stars.

Attendees will enjoy a delicious fish n’ chips dinner prepared by Tastefully British along with the action movie “Black Hawk Down.” The event will take place on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Drive-through pick-up is also available. The movie will be held on the College’s Connor Green starting at 7:30 p.m.

The event is sponsored by the SCCC Foundation. Proceeds from this event will support the emergency relief fund, which benefits SCCC student veterans.

Social distancing rules will be in place. Attendees should bring their own blanket or lawn chairs to sit on.

Tickets are $16 per person and can be purchased by visiting sussex.edu/fishnchips. It’s recommended to reserve your space ahead of time.
