It’s just around the corner and tickets are going fast. Returning to Palacio, a posh, chandelier-decked banquet hall just off Route 17 in Goshen, is Girl Boss Expo: an event charged by girl power, focused on breaking the glass ceiling and discovering limitless opportunities for local girls.

In addition to empowering seminars and fun, free activities such as henna, a hair and makeup lounge, and an art studio, there will be engaging classes on-site for the girls to participate in.

United Martial Arts Center, which has multiple locations throughout Orange County, will be leading a self-defense workshop. Like many vendors at the event, UMAC is offering a special deal: two weeks of free kickboxing, martial arts, or their after school program (which includes transportation) for anyone who attends the expo.

Licensed dance teacher Jessica Papasidero will be also be leading a Zumba class. It’s her second year at Girl Boss Expo, and she knows how to get the whole room up and moving, making exercise feel like a party.

Limited free tickets remain. Visit GirlBossExpo.com to reserve yours. Otherwise, they are $10 at the door.
