Drama Geek Studios presents a performance of Legally Blond Jr at Halstead Middle School on the weekend of Oct. 25, 26, and 27.
Legally Blonde, The Musical JR. is a fun journey of self-empowerment and songs filled with humor, wit and sass. Legally Blonde Jr. is directed by Joshua Reed and produced by Drama Geek Studios, and will performed during the weekend of October 25, 26, & 27. Friday and Saturday evening performances are at 7 p.m. with a matinee on Sunday at 3 p.m.

Legally Blonde JR. follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes, snobbery and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. When Elle's boyfriend, Warner, dumps her and heads to Harvard, claiming she's not "serious" enough, Elle crafts a song-and-dance personal essay to pave her way into law school. Befriending classmate, Emmett, and spunky hairdresser, Paulette, along the way, Elle finds that books and looks aren't mutually exclusive. As Elle outsmarts her peers, she realizes that law may be her calling.
This production features the heartwarming and comical characters of the original smash hit movie. This production features a large cast of young actors in Sussex County. The production team of Legally Blonde Jr. includes musical director Scott Tomlin, stage manager Kayla D’Angelo, choreographer Grace Logue, and costume and props mistress Lori Tomlin.
