The Souza Scholarship for the Performing Arts is currently in its final weeks of rehearsal for its 39th anniversary fund-raising show, "All Shook Up."
The show, directed and music-directed by Souza Committee Dom Pascullo, is based around music made famous by Elvis Presley.
“Dom Pascullo, director for many of our recent summer shows, just amazes with the performances he elicits from his young players,” said longtime Souza chairman Bob Curtis. “He has been able to breathe new life into our decades-old scholarship with his innovative ideas and his all-embracing theatrical spirit. As a well-healed community theater veteran, I can say that when he works with those kids, he is a joy to watch.”
When and where: Souza’s "All Shook Up" will be performed on Friday and Saturday, July 26 and 27, at 7 p.m., and again on Sunday, July 28, at 2 p.m., on the stage at the Central Valley Elementary School on Route 32 in Central Valley.
How much: Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors. Note that the Souza Scholarship can only accept cash or check as payment for tickets. For advanced ticket sales, call Janet at 845-662-1915 or send an e-mail to souzatickets@gmail.com.
