    Assemblyman Colin Schmitt will host the inaugural 99th Assembly District Students of Achievement celebration on Monday, June 10, at the Washingtonville Middle School Auditorium at 6:30 p.m.
    School districts that serve students within the 99th Assembly District were asked to nominate one student that truly stands out and is worthy of recognition. Nominees may include a student from any grade level who has left a lasting impression on teachers and school officials and has contributed positively to the school community as a whole.
    The following students will be recognized at the ceremony:

    • Minisink: Sarah Cerutti
    • Cornwall: Brielle Withers
    • Goshen: Matthew Lewis
    • Newburgh: Ryler Gould
    • Burke Catholic: Grant Stevenson
    • Storm King: Emmanuel Davis
    • Highland Falls: Carl Tyce
    • Valley Central: Jada Wesenberg
    • North Rockland (Stony Point): Phoenix Dalto
    • Warwick: Vidar Hagerman
    • Monroe-Woodbury: Christian Hess
    • SUNY Orange: Anthony Russell
    • Middletown: De’Marques Parson
    "Our Assembly District has some amazing students that not only work hard in the classroom but also make positive contributions to the community as a whole," Schmitt said in the press release announcing the program. "These young men and women have a very impressive set of credentials and accolades already and I cannot wait to see what more they contribute to society as the years go on."
