Concettina Marie Calabro Brice (Tina) passed away peacefully at Gulfside Hospice in Zephyrhills, Florida on May 4th, 2019 at the age of 99 and is at home with the Lord. Tina, as she was known by all loving friends and family was born to Michele Calabro and Maria F. Sidoti Calabro on June 17, 1919, in Rochester, N.Y. Tina spread love and friendship everywhere she went.
With her warm smile and loving touch she had a way of bringing joy to everyone she met and had a way of brightening up their day. Tina owned and operated her own professional photography studio in Rochester, N.Y., back in the 1940’s long before many women had their own businesses. It was in her studio where she took the picture of and met George her husband to be when they wed shortly after he returned from World War II.
They moved to Glen Rock, N.J., and lived there for 17 years before moving to Lafayette, N.J. In Lafayette they ran a greenhouse business where they sold plants and had a blueberry farm. Tina was also very active working at the Lafayette Antique Mill waiting on customers and meeting people which she loved doing. Tina is survived by her daughter Lorraine G. Mills, son John H. Brice, granddaughter Linda Brigham, grandson Scott Mills and great grandson Brice Brigham. Memorial service will be held at the Lafayette Federated Church on Route 15 and will be scheduled at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations to Assisted Living of Pasco 7435 Plathe Road, New Port Richey, Fl. 34653 would be greatly appreciated.
