High Point falls to Sparta in lacrosse tourney

High Point Regional High School was defeated by Sparta High School in the first round of the Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex boys' lacrosse tournament on Saturday May 4.

The final score was 17-4.

The first round of the Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex Tournament took place at Station Park in Sparta Township, New Jersey.

Luke Wilson scored five goals for Sparta (10-3). Aidan Maxwell contributed two goals and two assists. Jake Christiano, R.J. Duthaler, Chase Geer, Lucas Hein, Evan Johnson, Jack Lenosky, Patrick Milliken, Colby Plotts, Ollie Sears and Adam Wood scored one goal apiece.

High Point fell to 5-6.
