SCCC, Camden split twin bill

Newton. The Sussex County Community College softball won the first game, but dropped the second game mof a double header.




  • Sussex County batter Madison Stires is in a bunt stance. Stires is a freshman and is a resident of Wantage Township, New Jersey and graduated from High Point Regional High School.

  • Sussex County outfielder Kathryn Szatkiewicz throws the ball. Szatkiewicz is a sophomore and graduated from Newton High School in Sussex County, New Jersey.




  • Sussex County outfielder Madison Stires is about to catch a fly ball. Stires is a freshman and is a resident of Wantage Township, New Jersey and graduated from High Point Regional High School.





Camden County College defeated Sussex County Community College in the second game of a doubleheader in women's softball on Sunday, April 14, 2019.

The final score was 9-1.

Sussex County defeated Camden in the first game 9-1.

Team records: Camden Cougars 9-13. Sussex Skylanders 6-10.
