Jefferson offers golf lessons

OAK RIDGE — The Jefferson Township Recreation Department is offering Golf for Beginners – Level I Basics and Golf for Intermediates – Level II – Intro to Playing golf lessons at Bowling Green Golf Club to students as young as 6 years old through adults this Spring.
The program will be taught by Head Golf Professional Derek Bishop at the facility located at 53 Schoolhouse Road, Milton/Oak Ridge.
Beginner Junior Lessons on Sundays April 28 through June 9 at 3 pm for 6 to 9 year olds and at 4 pm for 10 to 14 year olds. Six 30 minute sessions for $70 – no classes on May 12.
Beginner Adult Lessons on Saturdays April 20 through May 25 at 4 pm for ages 15 thru adults. Six 45 minute sessions for $100.
Intermediate Junior Lessons on Tuesdays April 23 thru May 28 at 5 pm for students 7 to 14 years old. Six 30 minute sessions for $70.
Intermediate Adult Lessons on Saturdays April 20 thru May 25 at 5 pm for ages 15 thru adults. Six 45 minute sessions for $100.
Each class will be limited to 10 golfers, and if you need golf clubs, Bowling Green will provide them for you.
Registration for this program is online through Community Pass when you choose “2019 Spring Golf Lessons” as the season. Log on to http://www.communitypass.net and if you do not already have an account, follow the prompts to set up your own personal account. Register and pay for this program being sponsored by the Jefferson Township Recreation Department online or mail or drop off a check within 3 days to Jefferson Recreation, 81 Weldon Road, Lake Hopatcong, NJ 07849. You will automatically receive an email confirmation after you register and make your payment.
