The Lugar Center, led by former U.S. Senator Richard Lugar, and the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University named Congressman Josh Gottheimer as the most bipartisan Democratic freshman Member of the last Congress based on their newly released Bipartisan Index (BPI) Rankings for 2018.
"I was proud to have been named the most bipartisan freshman Democrat in the 115th Congress. As Co-Chair of the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus, I believe no one side has a monopoly on all of the best ideas. Especially in this era of divided government, I’ll work with anyone if it’s good for Jersey — to cut taxes and red tape, invest in infrastructure, and protect our air and water,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5).
