Reservations are now being accepted for the Jefferson Arts Committee's 8th annual Designer Handbag Bingo/Tricky Tray featuring numerous well-known designer handbags including Coach, DKNY, Kate Spade, Vera Bradley, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, Fossil, Dooney & Bourke, Michael Kors and more.
This 2019 event is on Friday, May 10, at the Jefferson Township High School cafeterias, 1010 Weldon Road, Oak Ridge with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. and calling to begin at 7 p.m.
Admission is $25 per person and includes three bingo boards for each of the 20 games to be played — that’s 60 chances to win a beautiful handbag and extra bingo boards can be pre-ordered for $5 each (extra boards will be available at the event for $10 each). Daubers must be used for the bingo games — bring your own or purchase one that evening for a nominal charge.
Following the bingo games, there will be an exciting Tricky Tray featuring designer accessories including wallets, wristlets, scarves, gift cards and certificates, jewelry, handbags, fragrances, and other lovely surprises as well as a 50/50 raffle. You can choose to also take a spin at the “Wheel of Chance” for an opportunity to win other beautiful designer handbags and purchase tickets for the amazing Specials and Super Specials being offered this year. Tickets will be sold at the event for each of these raffles so be sure to come early to browse.
Reserved seating is required as seating is limited, and reservation forms are available at https://www.facebook.com/JACHandbagBingo and www.jeffersonarts.org and in the display rack of the Jefferson Township Public Library. All reservations and payments must be mailed to the Arts Committee’s post office box according to the instructions on the form - absolutely no reservations will be accepted in person or by phone. Reservations will be accepted for tables up to eight people by the postmark date so don’t delay — this event is always sold out before the event so there are no tickets at the door.
New this year, the Jefferson Arts Committee will be partnering with The Panera Bread Company in offering you a dinner choice of four Café sandwiches for your convenience.
This fundraiser will assist the Jefferson Arts Committee throughout 2019 in funding events and programs including:
eight free Summer Gazebo Concerts (Fridays starting on June 28)
Jefferson Fest III - Food Truck Festival/Concert/Fireworks (July 13)
Christmas in the Village (December 7)
programs such as Student Artists of the Month and the scholarship fund
funding for the performing arts groups: the Jefferson Township Community Concert Band and Jazz Band, the Jefferson Township Community Chorus, and the Jefferson Community Players and
other special events including bus trips, concerts, etc.
Snacks and refreshments will be available for purchase with complimentary coffee, tea, and dessert. No coolers or alcoholic beverages are allowed, and no one under 18 admitted.
