Mineral museum to open weekends

FRANKLIN — The Franklin Mineral Museum will be open on weekends starting in March.
It will be open 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturdays and 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Sundays.
Museum exhibits, rock collecting (weather permitting), fossil dig, gem panning, kid's adventure package, gift shop, picnic area, covered pavilion, great for kid's birthday parties.
The museum will open daily starting April 1.
