    Donald J. Freeman, 81, of Oak Ridge passed away in the Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Clare’s Hospital. He was the loving husband of Judith Santora-Freeman. They shared 29 years together. Born in Queens, NY; he was the son of the late Ruth and Joseph Freeman.
    Donald was a 1958 Chemical Engineer graduate of Cooper Union in New York City. Following graduation, he was employed for 41 years by the United States Army, Picatinny Arsenal. He subsequently earned his Professional Engineering Licenses in both Chemical and Environmental Engineering at NJIT. Donald always put his faith in God and was a dedicated member of the Milton United Methodist Church in Oak Ridge. He was also a very active member of both The Sparta Camera Club and The Photographers of Sussex County. Donald enjoyed extensive travel to the Southwest.
    He is survived by his wife, Judith; his step-son, Frank Santora; his daughter, Linda Yarosh, and son-in-law, Victor; and his four grandchildren, Amanda, Erik, Danika, and Peter Yarosh. Brother in law of Paul and Judy Yates. Also survived by loving nieces and nephews. Donald is predeceased by a brother, Clifford Freeman and a sister, Janice Lach. A Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2019, at Milton United Methodist Church.
