Feb. 22Raymond Waters, 37, of Ogdensburg was sentenced to two years of non-custodial probation concurrent with any other probation. He was ordered to complete 20 hours of community service work while maintaining employment and pay restitution of $14,340.00 and fines and fees totaling $155.
He pleaded guilty on Jan. 14, 2019, to theft, a third-degree crime.
The defendant took a Hardyston resident’s jewelry and cash between May and July 2015.
Mary Mania, 33, of Dover was sentenced to two years of non-custodial probation with credit for 36 days of time served. She was ordered to complete 20 hours of community service work and pay fines and fees totaling $1,205. Her driver license was ordered suspended for six months.
She pleaded guilty on Oct. 24, 2018, to possession of a controlled dangerous substance, a third-degree crime.
On May 6, 2017, the defendant was arrested for an outstanding warrant and was in `possession of heroin.
Lloyd McCavitt, 45, of Vernon was sentenced to two years of non-custodial probation. He was ordered to continue intensive outpatient treatment, submit to a TASC evaluation if required, pay mandatory minimum fines and fees totaling $889 and complete 30 days of community service work and 48 hours at the Intoxicated Drivers Resource Center. His driver license was ordered suspended for two years, and he must utilize an ignition interlock device for one year.
He pleaded guilty on Dec. 17, 2018, to possession of a controlled dangerous substance, a third-degree crime, and to driving under the influence, a motor vehicle violation. On Sept. 24, 2018, the defendant was stopped for a motor vehicle violation in Hardyston Township. The defendant was in possession of heroin and was driving under the influence.
Erika Arcila, 28, of Branchville was sentenced 180 days in the Keogh Dwyer Correctional Facility, 3 years’ Probation upon release, TASC evaluation, drug monitoring and 25 hours of community service. In addition, Arcila is ordered to pay $373 in fines and fees.
She pleaded guilty on Jan. 17,2019, to two counts of Driving While Suspended, both fourth degree offenses.
On April 18, 2018, upon being pulled over for a routine motor vehicle stop in Andover, Arcila admitted to Andover Law Enforcement that she was driving without a driver’s license and that her New Jersey Driver’s License was suspended.
On Nov. 29, 2018, while driving on a suspended license, Arcila was apprehended by Sussex County Sheriff’s Officer, Det. Sgt. Scott Haggerty on a warrant for her arrest.
