Sparta Historical Society welcomes Linda Kenyon, multi-media actress, to perform her one woman show of “A Life of my own: Eleanor Roosevelt” by Stephen LaRocque. Eleanor Roosevelt became an inspiration to people of good will all around the world. Her life and work contributed toward making our country and world a better place to live. This play illuminates some steps along her journey. Eleanor’s granddaughter, Ellie Seagraves, said “Linda has the Eleanor Roosevelt voice, gestures, warmth and engaging personal touches of Eleanor Roosevelt. What Linda does with this role is the best I’ve ever seen or heard any place."

Those attending will have a chance to ask questions about the topic or other issues relating to the history of Eleanor Roosevelt. Members are free, non-members $5
