Aviary expert presents 'Lifetime Journey; Birds in Migration'

    On Friday, Jan. 18, 2019, the Sussex County Bird Club will present the following program: Lifetime Journey - Birds in Migration. Cailin O'Connor will present stories of the amazing flights of birds during their seasonal migrations including their feats and the obstacles they encounter. She is a lecturer in the School of Environmental Science and Sustainability at Kean University (NJ), a wild bird rehabilitator, and a Master Bander; birds are her primary interest. She has a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Biology with a concentration in Ecology and Evolution, both from Montclair State University.
    The public is welcome to attend at the Visions Credit Union Community Room, 47, at Route 206, in Augusta, New Jersey, at 7:30 p.m. for the free presentation.
