Marco Silvestri

Marco Silvestri, Newfoundland, N.J., 85 years, passed away peacefully on Dec. 25.
Born Dec. 21, 1933, in Pacentro, Italy, to the late Fillipo and Antoinette (Lucci) and immigrated to the US at age 7.
Marco was a retired graphic artist with his office and real estate holdings in Lakeland Plaza, Newfoundland. Marco enjoyed his family and keeping them close and involved. He was a lively narrator and enjoyed captivating his audience with his personal storytelling style.
Marco is survived by his wife Erna (Rosenburg) Silvestri and three children, Philip Silvestri and his wife Rita, of New York City, NY; Mark Silvestri and his wife Kristen of Newfoundland, N.J.; and Donna Moore and her husband John of Newfoundland, N.J.
Marco was a proud grandfather of Justin and Travis Moore, Nick (predeceased) Lucy Silvestri, Steven, Sarah and Kyle Silvestri. Marco was further blessed with a great-grandchild, Isabelle Moore.
Services to celebrate his life will be on Friday, Dec. 28, 2018, from 4-8 p.m. at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, 187 La Rue Road, Newfoundland, NJ 07435 (For GPS use 1 Post Place).
The funeral mass will be held on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 454 Germantown Road, West Milford, N.J.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Marco’s memory to the West Milford First Aid Squad, P.O. Box 387, West Milford, NJ 07480.
