Dec. 7Darryn Jackson, 41, of Whiting was sentenced to 60 days in jail concurrent with a state prison sentence.
He must also pay mandatory fines and fees and restitution.
He pleaded guilty on Sept. 27 to conspiracy to commit shoplifting and theft, both fourth-degree crimes. Jackson admitted to theft and shoplifting from Walmart.
