Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School defeated Sparta-Jefferson United in varsity ice hockey on Saturday, Dec. 1, at Skylands Ice World. The final score was 5-0.

Sparta-Jefferson United is a merged team consisting of hockey players from Sparta High School and Jefferson Township High School.

Team records: Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders 1-2. Sparta-Jefferson United 1-3.
