OAK RIDGE — Jefferson Township High School (pink) defeated Morris Hills High School (Rockaway, New Jersey) in girls varsity volleyball on Friday, Oct. 26.
Jefferson won straight sets by the same score of 25-20.
Jefferson senior Hannah Carcich achieved her 1,000th career assist during the second set. In the contest Carcich accomplished 4 aces, 21 assists and 5 digs. Chelsea Bitondo accomplished 4 aces, 5 kills, 1 block and 7 digs. Cassidy Espinoza accomplished 1 kill, 5 blocks and 1 dig. Lauren Liaci achieved 3 kills, 2 assists and 8 digs. Gabriella Maffei accomplished 1 ace, 7 kills, 2 blocks and 8 digs. Amanda Novack achieved 12 digs. Stephanie Nwankwo accomplished 8 kills and 2 blocks. Emily Carcich achieved 2 digs.
