Franklin PD unveils new life

    The Franklin Borough Police Department has unveiled a new website. www.franklinpd.org, aimed at taking the Department’s communication and community engagement to a whole new level.
    The Franklin Borough Police Department’s website was unveiled on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018.
    The content will be updated on a daily basis and the departments hope is give the community a source of information regarding the Franklin Borough Police Department.
    The new site will carry news on department-wide initiatives, as well as portals to make it easier for citizens to view crime statistics, file commendations or complaints against officers and police department personnel.
    Several forms and applications normally obtained at the police department are now conveniently online, such as applications for firearms permits, fingerprinting, liquor license, etc. It will have a “notify me” section which will communicate with those who wish to be notified of traffic alerts, news and announcements of the Franklin Police Department. The website has a list of personnel and assignments and a way for the public to communicate with each officer and civilian currently employed.
    The website has several features and all are encouraged to view the site.
