    Sept. 25Edward Lindhorn, II. 31, of Mt. Sinai, N.Y., pleaded guilty to two counts of resisting arrest and one count of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, all crimes of the third degree.
    Sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 1.
    The defendant admitted he resisted arrest when he was caught by Hamburg Police at the 7-11 Convenience Store in Hamburg while attempting to shoplift. He also admitted to being in possession of heroin at that time.
    Sept. 26Thomas Rae, 52, of Newton pleaded guilty to criminal tresspass, a fourth-degree crime and a violation of probation.
    Sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 16.
    In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to entering a Newton home in June without permission.
    The case was investigated by Detective Sergeant Steven VanNieuwland of the Newton Police Department.
    Heather R. James, 41, of Hawley, Pa., was sentneced to three years of porbation on condition she undergo a TASC evaluation and follow all recommendastions, submit a DNA smaple, complete 75 hours of community service and pay $1,387 in court fines and fees.
    She pleaded guilty on June 18, to Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, a crime of the third degree.
    The defendant was pulled over, in January, by Sparta Police for a motor vehicle violation and was found to be in possession of 389 folds of Heroin.
    Oct. 1Joseph Bokun. 21, of Highland Lakes pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled dangerous substance, a third-degree crime.
    Sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 11.
    In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to being in possession of heroin on May 17.
    The case was investigated by Patrolman Felix Martinez and Patrolman Adam Kraus of the Vernon Township Police Department.
