VERNON — Vernon Township High School DECA will once again sponsor the Harvest House Annual Turkey Dinner to benefit the Community Lunch Program located in Sussex Borough.

They want to make this the most successful dinner ever, exceeding the number of dinners served and take-out dinners for last year.

The dinner will be held at Vernon Township High School cafeteria, 1832 Route 565, Vernon, on Saturday, Oct. 20, from 4-7 p.m.

Sit-down diners will enjoy love music provided by Tom Toms. Take out is also available and includes dessert. Tickets are $12 for adults, $8 for seniors and children. Family of four can eat for only $25.

The event is an opportunity for a family and friends for a sit-down dinner with live music and good food close to home.

“The Turkey Dinner is not as much about raising funds to keep our community lunch program afloat,” said Peg Benhke, secretary of Harvest House and their organizer for this turkey dinner, “but to raise community awareness of Harvest House.”
