Police say Franklin minor sexually assaulted

FRANKLIN — A Newark man faces charges after Franklin Borough police received a complaint about a sexual assault on Monday, Sept. 24.
Wardin Rigoberto Medina Jr., 20, was charged with the assault of a minor, specifically one count of sexual assault of a minor.
Police said Medina sexually assaulted the juvenile on or about Sept. 13 at her residence in Franklin.
Police said they tracked Medina down in Newark and transported him to Franklin Police Headquarters to continue the investigation on Wednesday.
Medina was sent ot the Keogh Dwyer Correctional Facility. The investigation is ongoing and more charges may follow.
