Pyschedelicats comign to Sussex Borough

SUSSEX BOROUGH — The Psychedelicats perform the best of 60s Psychedelic Rock, faithfully recreating the music of psych and acid rock. They take a three- pronged approach to the genre-- psych one-hit wonders, acid rock bands and the psych period of 60s mega bands.
THE Psychedelicats play groundbreaking acid rock bands that defined, shaped and influenced the psychedelic rock genre (the Jimi Hendrix Experience, The Doors, The Byrds, early Pink Floyd, Steppenwolf, The Yardbirds etc), chart-topping psychedelic hits and one-hit wonders (Incense and Peppermints, Journey to the Center of the Mind, Pictures of Matchstick Men and countless others) and 60s mega bands that went through a psychedelic period (the Beatles’ Revolver, Sgt. Peppers and Magical Mystery Tour, the Rolling Stones’ Satanic Majesty’s Request and the Who’s Who Sell Out and more). Fancying themselves Psychedelic Rock scholars, The Psychedelicats have curated the ultimate psych rock review, recreating the vintage sounds, arrangements and style of 60s and early 70s psychedelic rock.
