Renowned mentalist at Sparta Avenue Stage

SPARTA — This Labor Day weekend, Saturday, September 1 at 8 PM, Sparta Avenue Stage’ s monthly magic series, “24 Karat Magic,” returns with a world-renowned psychic entertainer. Ted Saint James, the highly acclaimed mentalist, will be attempting to tap into the mental unconsciousness of the Sparta Stage audience. His feats of perception are stunning, head-scratching and may cause one to question reality.
Ted Saint James is a New Jersey resident, full-time performer, and author of one of the most sought-after books in the field, entitled “The Hidden Force of Mentalism.” He has been the creative consultant for the TV series “The Mentalist,” an LA crime drama about an investigative branch that employs a psychic to help them with their crime-solving. Ted also consulted on the movie “Keith Barry Extraordinary” a television special featuring the Irish magician and hypnotist, Keith Barry.
Ted Saint James, aka Ted Karmilovich, was honored with Psychic Entertainers Award for Outstanding Contribution to the art of mentalism in 2001. He is an eminent inventor of effects for psychics and mentalists including “Vision in Black” and “Now is the Time."
Known among magicians and psychic entertainers for being open with his ideas and methods, Ted Saint James will also hold a lecture on Saturday, September 1 at 4 PM for practitioners of the art. This lecture is sponsored by the Society of American Magicians, Assembly #168 and is free for S.A.M.#168 members and $15 for nonmembers.
