Three charged after drug complaint

    Three people face charges after the Franklin Borough Police Dept. on Aug 19.
    Mark Houghtaling, 38, of Wantage was charged with multiple narcotics offenses including possession of crack cocaine, heroin, and possession of hypodermic needles. He was also found to have an active warrant from Sussex County. He was lodged in the County Jail per the active warrant.

    Christopher Hillery, 40, of Pine Island, N.Y., was also charged with multiple narcotics offenses including possession of crack cocaine, heroin, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released in accordance with the guidelines on New Jersey's bail system.
    Christopher Delgaudio, 30, of Sussex was charged with multiple narcotics offenses including possession of crack cocaine, heroin, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was found to have a traffic warrant from Edgewater Borough in the amount of $354.00. He was released on his own recognizance per the Edgewater Police Department, in reference to the warrant. In reference to the new narcotics charges, he was released in accordance with the guidelines on New Jersey's bail system.
    On Aug. 19, at approximately 11:40 a.m., Officer Nicholas Della Fera conducted a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 23 near the Burger King for several motor vehicle infractions.
    During the motor vehicle stop Officer Della Fera conducted a search of the vehicle he had stopped and allegedly located 12 bags of crack cocaine, 97 bags of heroin, and drug paraphernalia.
