Pub Crawl to benefit conservation efforts

BOONTON — Grab your friends and hop on the Boonton Highlands Trolley on Aug. 31 for the second annual Hopped Up Highlands Boonton Scavenger Hunt Pub Crawl, presented by and benefiting the New Jersey Highlands Coalition.
Patrons can travel from bar to bar on a trolley provided by the Town of Boonton, driver Geri Carcich and sponsor Design and Drafting Services Corp. of Boonton.
A new stop has been added this year: Maxfield’s on Main, the third stop, is in a historic building dating back to the 1890s.
This year’s participants should sign in and begin their crawling from Poor Henry’s Pub & Restaurant at 6:30 p.m., then head to Boonton Station 1904, over to Maxfield’s on Main, then to Johnnies Tavern and end at Sharky’s West, where the winners of the Scavenger Hunt—and awesome prizes—will be announced.
Along the pub crawl route, crawlers solve clues to win prizes while visiting local businesses such as J&M Grill, Time’s Tin Cup, Mud Studio, Tito Burritos & Wings, Bobby’s Gifts & News, Main Street Bloomery, Heavenly Temptations and more.
Attendees will receive a commemorative gift, and the opportunity to purchase great craft beer and food at discounted prices as well as sign a “Clean Water Pledge” banner.
The crawl officially ends at 11:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 from https://2018boontonpubcrawl.eventbrite.com or $30 at the door.

3. Maxfield's on Main, 713 Main St, Boonton, 8:30-9:30 p.m.
4. Johnnies Tavern, 301 Boonton Ave, Boonton, 9:30-10:30 p.m.
5. Sharky's West, 108 Boonton Avenue, Boonton, 10:30-11:30 p.m.
