Library to offer job workshops

    The Sussex County Library System is offering Jersey Job Club workshops at its Main Branch, 125 Morris Turnpike in Frankford, every Friday from 1-3 p.m. from August 24 through Oct. 26.
    The Jersey Job Club workshops help job seekers develop job search skills including resume writing, interviewing, time management and more.
    The first workshop in the series, Path to Employment: Starting Your Job Search, is an in-depth orientation that includes a discussion of the emotional impact of job loss and setting effective career goals. Job search methods and how to develop a plan will also be discussed.

    Oct. 19: Master the Art of Networking
    Oct. 26: Job Seeker Meet & Greet
    These free workshop are made possible by the New Jersey Libraries Career Connections Grant from the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development. Sussex County residents can readily access Career Connections services at all six Sussex County Library branches.
