    Louis Reed, 44, of Netcong was sentenced to three years of probation. He was ordered to maintain employment, obtain a G.E.D., submit to a substance abuse evaluation and follow any and all recommendations made from same, and pay fines and fees totaling $155.
    He pleaded guilty on June 25, 2018, to theft, a fourth-degree crime.
    The defendant took another’s motorcycle on May 23, 2017, in Byram Township.
    Aug. 13
    Darryl Farrier, 38, of Franklin, was charged with one count of third-degree child Endangerment and one count of possession of child pornography. The charges resulted from a joint investigation by the Vernon Township Police Department, the Franklin Township Police Department and the Sussex County Prosecutor’s Office of a report of an adult male using the internet to meet a juvenile to engage in a sexual act.
    Farrier is alleged to have used various Apps (Whisper, Kik and Meet Me) to engage in sexually explicit chats, and to meet underage females. Farrier allegedly used the names “Doug,” “Hangten0, “Pallyi_Possum,” “Dmann4789” or “Dmann347” on the various Apps.
    Farrier is also a youth pastor at a church in Morris County.
