Angry Erik to host botanical walk

LAFAYETTE — Angry Erik Brewing and Heather Housekeeper, aka The Botanical Hiker, will host a nature walk along the Paulinskill Trail on Saturday, Aug. 18, from 1-4 p.m.
The cost is $25 and includes a pint of beer at Angry Erik Brewing.
Ever wonder what edible and medicinal plants can be found along your favorite wooded areas or even in your own backyard? Join the Botanical Hiker for a walk on the Paulinskill Trail where she will introduce you to local floral that can often serve as delicious treats and healthful medicines. This walk will be easy-going with lots of stops along the way to talk all things plants.
The walk will begin and end at Angry Erik Brewing, where you will tour the brewhouse and enjoy a pint of some of the freshest & most local beer available, included in the cost of the walk.

Angry Erik Brewing is located at 10 Millpond Drive, Unit #8, in Lafayette. Tasting room hours for tours, tastings, pints and growler fills are: Thursday, 5-8 p.m.; Friday, 4-8 p.m.; Saturday, 12-8 p.m.; and Sunday, 12-6 p.m.
